چکیده
Objectives: More recently, the glenoid track has been described as a continuum rather than binary “on-track/off-track” concept. “Distance to dislocation” (DTD), which defines how far an on-track lesion is from being off-track, proven be strong predictor for recurrent dislocation following arthroscopic Bankart repair. Risk of instability Latarjet it relates DTD, however, unknown. The purpose this study was determine if DTD and return-to-sport/work (RTS). We hypothesized higher values would correlate with lower failure rates RTS. Methods: retrospectively identified 106 consecutive patients who underwent between 2012 2022. Glenoid bone loss, Hills-Sachs Interval (HSI), (GT), ( = GT – HSI) were determined preoperative MRIs. On-track shoulders corresponded positive values, while off-track revealed negative values. Relatedly, more or value, shoulder. Univariate multivariate cox regression analyses utilized evaluate association dislocation, patient demographics, DTD. Using parametric survival analysis, we evaluated RTS, Results: Seventeen (16%) experienced dislocations. Our cohort 70% male average follow-up 1.5 years. Patient age (p=0.035), revision status (p=0.033), (p=0.005) significant predictors reoperation on univariate analysis. After adjusting confounders, only (p=0.043) remained instability, Figure 1. Regarding (p=0.14), sex (p=0.029), (p<0.0005) predictive RTS covariates, observed interaction (p=0.036). specifically, older have prolonged at compared younger patients, 2. Conclusions: Regardless vs status, useful variable in work-up undergoing reconstruction. Lower are especially patients.

First patellar dislocation: from conservative treatment to return to sport.
Treatment of first patellar dislocation is usually conservative and the subsequent rehabilitation program is based on specifically formulated objectives, which can be divided into different stages: stage 1: resolution of pain, swelling and inflammation; stage 2: recovery of joint motion and flexibility; stage 3: recovery of muscle strength; stage 4: recovery of motor patterns and coordination; ...
متن کاملRecurrent dislocation following hip replacement: brief report.
A new method of preventing recurrent dislocation following total hip replacement was described by Olerud and Karlstr#{246}m (1985). It involves augmentation of the acetabular component with a sector cut from another acetabular prosthesis and screwed to the original implant. This procedure was performed on three of our patients with recurrent dislocation, but in each case the hip continued to di...
متن کاملReturn to sport following elbow surgery.
Although less common than injuries to the knee or shoulder, elbow injuries can be a substantial challenge to sports medicine providers. Many elbow problems respond to routine nonoperative measures including periods of activity modification and physical therapy, but others may ultimately require surgery. Following surgery, appropriate attention to rehabilitation is important to achieve optimal f...
متن کاملRecurrent Radial Head Dislocation
Radial head subluxation is a common injury in children. It has been described as nurse's elbow, radial head subluxation (RHS) and "pulled elbow". There may be a recurrence, however, this is the first time that it has been reported to recur three times.
متن کاملAcute, recurrent total knee dislocation: Polyethylene dislocation and malreduction
A 62-year-old man underwent total knee arthroplasty using a mobile-bearing prosthesis. Four days post-operatively the patient experienced the first of several acute knee dislocations. Closed reduction was performed at an outside hospital a total of three times prior to presentation at this institution. A two-stage exchange of the TKA was recommended due to the clinical suspicion for an infected...
